Why Item Upgrade Is More Dangerous Than You Believed

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available. The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded. Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat. Players can reroll their equipment into three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health. Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins. As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool. Growthstones Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts. To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the “level up button”. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone. After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item. The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the “transfer” tab. The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones. Leveling Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level. Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment. The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can add an item to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process. A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19. Once item upgrades reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted. Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade. Requirements Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens. The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction. Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats. For example, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” increases base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps “Wildfire” however, increases weapon damage. Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version. When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade. The game will place an item in your inventory once you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
