Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available. The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded. Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat. Players can reroll their equipment into three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health. Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the “transfer” tab. The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade. Requirements Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens. The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction. Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats. When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
